When Sally @sallykellyfabric sent me some samples of her upcoming Celestial Skies range for Windham Fabrics @windhamfabrics I knew instantly what I was going to do! A funky modern 3D poinsettia! When I saw this fabric from @sallykellyfabric I just knew it had to be turned in to a funky quilted poinsettia. It’s from a fabric range coming in 2027 called Celestial Skies for @windhamfabrics. Going to add some green leaves next 😍

I met Brandy at Festival of Quilts in 2025 - I didn’t know who she was or about her podcast @quilteronfire Maybe it was for the best as I may have been a lot more shy if I’d known who she was! After festival I found out the podcast and started catching up with her amazing in depth interviews with quilters. Fast forward to Festival this year and we met walking the aisles and I was able to show her my latest quilt creation….and now I have a podcast on her channel!! Inspired by nature and capturing summer. This 3D quilted flower is based on my favourite dahlia named Pooh….after the bear.
